Ideal for finishing the inside of flight cases you build yourself, to protect their contents. Difficult to find in standard DIY shops. We at flightcase-brico.com have this in several thicknesses.
We call this ‘hard’ foam, because, contrary to ‘soft’ foam, it can stand heavy objects much better. If you put a heavy object on this, the foam will hardly be pushed down or not at all (assuming the weight is evenly distributed). Do the same with soft foam and it’ll become flatter after a while. With ‘hard’ we don’t mean this foam is as hard as a panel of wood.
