Can be used for the lid on your flight case. The lid stay function makes sure the lid will stay open at an angle of slightly over 90°.

Just a very important note in relation to case design: if the case itself is not very big, it is best to make the lid as light (i.e. narrow) as possible. Experience has shown that cases quickly tend to tip over when they are empty, due to the weight of an open lid that’s leaning over.
